How It Works

The product uses a two-mode action to modify the behavior of pests like moles, voles, gophers, and armadillos:

• Scent: The castor oil formula creates an aroma that burrowing animals find intolerable.
• Taste/Indigestion: It coats the animals' natural food sources (like earthworms and grubs) with castor oil, causing severe but non-lethal intestinal upset when ingested, prompting the animals to relocate.

• Active Ingredients: Primarily 20% Castor Oil on a base of Fuller’s Earth (a natural clay).
• Coverage: A standard 10 lb bag typically treats approximately 5,000 square feet.
• Duration: Remains effective for up to 6 weeks per application.

Application Instructions

For the best results, the manufacturer recommends a multi-day application strategy to "push" the moles out of your yard:

1. Day 1: Apply to the areas not yet affected by moles to create a boundary, then water in for 20 minutes.
2. Day 2: Apply to the infested areas and water in for 20 minutes.
3. Day 3: Re-apply to the entire lawn and water in for 20 minutes.
4. Maintenance: Re-apply every 6 weeks or after periods of heavy rain.
